Few places in Scotland compare with Glamis Castle for romantic and royal connections.
Ever since 1376, when Sir John Lyon brought his royal bride Princess Joanna, to Glamis, countless other royal figures have been enchanted by its romantic aura and setting.
To celebrate the royal wedding of Prince William, great grandson of HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, a special Historic Wedding Exhibition will be displayed in the Coach House Exhibition area and remain until the end of October.
From April 29th, articles of Marriage will be put on display and include:
The bridesmaid's dress worn by Betty Cator at the Royal wedding in 1923.
A unique Book of Address which was presented to Lady Elizabeth Bowes Lyon shortly before her marriage the Duke of York by the County of Angus.
An 18th C re - created wedding dress in the style worn by Mary Eleanor Bowes. (9th Countess of Strathmore)

Visitors to the castle on the 29th April will be able to watch the marriage ceremony of Prince William and Kate Middleton as it happens on large television screens strategically placed throughout the shop and restaurant.
